Chaochao Lu is currently a second year M.Phil student at Department of Information Engineering in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His supervisor is Prof. Xiaoou Tang. He also works closely with Prof. Chen Change Loy and Prof. Xiaogang Wang. Before that, he received the B. Eng degree from Software Institute, Nanjing University in 2012.
His main research interests include computer vision and machine learning, especially in the areas of face recognition, graph theory, Bayesian nonparametrics, and deep learning. He is also interested in Neuroscience and devotes continuous attention to its latest developments.
